I got this heavy knit cardigan from Target back in October. It was one of those items that I actually paid full price for (minus a $5.00 coupon & my Red Card dsicount) because I knew they wouldn't stay in stock. Sure enough, I haven't seen it since. The shirt underneath is just a simple long sleeved crew-neck tee.
For accessories I wore my rhinestone statement necklace, simple black earrings, a light brown belt, & animal print wedges. I've listed the exact jeans & necklace from The Buckle below (the necklace that I have is the bottom picture). I've also listed similar options for the cardigan since the exact one is not available. Of note, these jeans are a great "lower cost" option from The Buckle, however, if you purchase them make sure they are SNUG as they stretch out quite a bit (hence the belt). I think the "worn" look of this jean also adds visual interest...if they were a dark, solid color, it probably wouldn't add such a nice contrast.

ReplyDeleteThat is one fab sweater! Love your look. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a non-frumpy sweater jacket ... just wonderful. As a bona-fide old lady, I worry that cardigans can make me look more elderly than necessary. Not this one ... and you look lovely in it. I agree about black. It plays well with others, but is often best left alone to be fabulous. The necklace is a masterful touch. Impressive!
