Charcoal Ponte-Knit Dress

I have yet another bargain dress to show you guys!  I found this beauty while shopping this weekend with a friend at Old Navy.  Although the online price shows $24.97, I paid a whopping $7.41 for it!  It was on the clearance rack for $9.99, plus I used a coupon!  Hot diggity!

I can already tell this will be one of my favorite "go-to" dresses.  First, I love anything grey!  Second, it has a great natural shape to it & it's very comfortable to wear.

I've shown some examples below on different ways to mix & match colors with the dress.  I tried to show a mix of shoe types & accessories as well.  This dress would be great in Fall, Winter, & Spring!  All that versatility for under $8.00!

Don't you just love the vibrant blue & camel color together!  Like I said above, the dress already has a great natural shape to it, but you can still add a belt to change up the look.  I used a thin royal blue belt & added a camel colored print scarf.  I wore grey boot socks (a.k.a. my daughters leg warmers...shh) & tall brown riding boots.

The material of the dress is thicker, & for that reason it may not be best with a cardigan.  However, any blazer or jacket would be a great addition.  I added a jean jacket here with red pumps & layered mixed-metallic necklaces with bold red hoop earrings (sorry, you can't see those here).  I will say that I also tried it with the black motorcycle jacket I picked-up at Target recently, but I didn't like them together...not enough contrast between the black jacket & dark charcoal dress.

Can't go wrong with textured tights & leopard print ankle boots!  I added a large mint colored statement necklace for more color!

This would be a great way to wear the dress as we get closer to Spring.  A peach chevron light-weight scarf with a long strand of pearls & snake-skin printed flats.

Grey is such a great neutral & can easily be mixed with pretty much all colors!  So don't play it safe...try some new color combinations!

One last note...I don't own one, but a hot pink puffer vest (like this one) & a pair of Converse would also be a great casual Spring look with this dress (clapping hands emoticon here)! Hmmm, the puffer vest may have to go on my wish list!

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts or contact me if you have any questions.

Have a happy day!
